What to Wear on your First Date?

Flirty, Confident & Fashionable – Picking your outfit for your first date is more important than you think.

Creating a positive impression is crucial. Taking the time to find an outfit that gives a true impression of who you are is more important than you may consider.

When it comes to picking out an outfit, women will likely spend a lot of time on this. Picking out “the perfect outfit”, then changing our minds, and then changing our minds again. It’s who we are, and that’s ok. The essential factor here is that there is time, and thought involved, into finding the perfect way to express yourself through your appearance.

Men will likely not spend as much time as the woman does. That’s ok, too! Men don’t have to worry about reapplying makeup, and taking 30 minutes to style their hair…

It’s not a job interview, so don’t overdo it, but it’s important to avoid under-representing yourself, also.

Be yourself, but be a better-dressed version of yourself. Take the time to make sure things are clean, ironed, and fitting properly. Where a bright colour or something that makes you feel sexy and that will leave a lasting impression on your date.

Women: Choose something that you are going to feel good in, feel comfortable in, feel sexy in, and feel yourself in.  While a flirty outfit is a great choice, avoid revealing too much.

Men: Choose something that you feel comfortable, yet sexy in, also! Try to bring some of your personality into your outfit. Women will notice the efforts you put it, and your hard work will be appreciated.

Your match is expecting you to look good!

It’s important to be confident in your skin, and in your outfit! Own it!

First impressions can mean a lot, especially when we depend so much on chemistry on a first meeting.  It’s important to pay attention, put in the extra time that it takes, and give the best impression of your physical assets.

Simply put, it’s a dog eat dog world out there in the dating world, we need to be dressing the part, if we want to attract the person we want!
